Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support preventive and corrective maintenance on water and wastewater treatment equipment. This role involves hands-on mechanical and electrical work, equipment repair, and supporting daily plant operations.
Pay: $21.03 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, and equipment
- Assist with equipment installation, repair, and replacement
- Perform basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pipefitting tasks
- Operate tools, lifts, and emergency power equipment
- Maintain maintenance records and use CMMS systems
- Follow all safety procedures and respond to on-call needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license (New Mexico)
- Basic mechanical and/or electrical experience
Preferred
- Trade school or hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical systems
- Experience with water/wastewater equipment and pumps
- Knowledge of engines, motors, and maintenance systems
Additional Information
- Union position (post-probation)
