Responsible for providing adequate coverage in the cashiers booth on high volume days.<5c pan=""><5c>\nHeavy customer contact providing numerous customer service functions such as greeting the public, answering questions, directing inquires and generally assisting the public with court related matters.<5c pan=""><5c>\nReceives and records cash, and check payments to include fine payments, cash bonds and all other fees.<5c pan=""><5c>\nReceives payments for traffic citations from public and through the mail.<5c pan=""><5c>\nBalances daily receipts with computer generated print out. Totals receipts, checks and cash using calculator. Submits accurate and balanced documents to the Court Administrator for daily deposit to bank. Must accurately balance on a daily basis.<5c pan=""><5c>\nPrepares and maintains files and filings of all municipal court related papers, dockets, case files, and case related correspondence.<5c pan=""><5c>\nPerforms data entry functions regarding citations, fines, and court cases. Ensures data entry is current and accurate.<5c pan=""><5c>\nAssists with community service related functions for individuals who are unable to pay fines or citations. Coordinates with the appropriate agencies for community service work. Ability to learn legal language and legal procedures to municipal court functions.<5c pan=""><5c>\nComprehensive knowledge of alphabetical and numeric filing systems. Knowledge of records management filing systems.
